Floor Laying in Munich - Parquet, Vinyl, Laminate & Tiles
Floor laying in Munich for apartments, houses and commercial spaces: we lay parquet, vinyl, laminate and tiles and sand old parquet floors, including subfloor preparation, skirting boards and clean transitions. Because we also do electrics, plumbing, drywall and painting ourselves, the new floor fits into any renovation.

Which floors do we lay?
All common interior floor coverings, from vinyl and laminate through parquet to tiles. We also sand and seal existing parquet.
- Parquet - laying, sanding and sealing
- Vinyl - click or fully bonded
- Laminate - quick to lay and easy to care for
- Tiles - for bathroom, kitchen, hallway and living spaces
- Subfloor preparation - levelling, filling, impact sound insulation
- Skirting boards & transitions - a clean finish at walls and doors
Which floor covering suits which room?
It depends on how heavily the room is used and whether moisture plays a role. The table gives a first overview, and we discuss the right solution on site.
| Covering | Strengths | Well suited for |
|---|---|---|
| Parquet | real wood, long-lasting, can be sanded several times | living and bedrooms, old buildings |
| Vinyl | hard-wearing, warm underfoot, resistant to moisture | kitchen, hallway, children’s rooms, rented apartments |
| Laminate | affordable, easy to care for, quick to lay | living and bedrooms, refurbishment before re-letting |
| Tiles | very hard-wearing, waterproof, ideal with underfloor heating | bathroom, kitchen, hallway |
Can old parquet be sanded instead of replaced?
Often yes. Solid parquet and many engineered parquets can be sanded and newly sealed or oiled, and the floor looks like new afterwards.
Whether this works for your floor depends on the thickness of the wear layer and the condition. We check this during the on-site visit before you decide on a new floor.
Why is the subfloor so important?
Because every floor is only as good as the subfloor beneath it. Unevenness, moisture or loose old coverings later lead to gaps, creaking or cracks.
That is why we check the subfloor before laying and level and fill where necessary. This work appears as separate items in the quote.
How much does a new floor cost?
It depends on the covering, the area, the condition of the subfloor and the effort for skirting boards and transitions. That is why we only give a reliable price after the on-site visit.
Our quote lists every item separately: covering, preparation, laying, skirting. You see exactly what you are paying for. You receive the binding price as a fixed price after measurement.

New floor as part of a renovation?
Gladly. Then we plan the floor together with all other work. Pipes, underfloor heating and walls come first and the floor follows, so nothing finished gets damaged.
